Ray Kroc is the founder of McDonalds as we know it today. Ray Kroc was a fifty two year old salesman of mixers. His main clients were restaurants and eateries across the United States of America. One of his clients was a burger restaurant called McDonalds. McDonalds was founded by Dick and Mac McDonalds.

Kroc was impressed with the sales of their burgers. The McDonald brothers had also begun to enter the franchising model. They were beginning to open multiple outlets through their franchisees. They used an assembly line type of system to make the burgers. Ray Kroc later copied this system. In one the greatest business coups of all time Ray Kroc managed to convince the McDonald brothers to sell him the business for U.S. $ 2.7 million. The rest as they say is history. Kroc wrote a popular autobiography called "Grinding It Out." He was married three times.
