Is A Pulse Rate Of 48 A Health Risk?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Well that depends on if you work out what time of day you did the count, how fit you are do you have dizzy spells head rushes, how old are you, many different things, were you resting if so how long,or did you work out some time ago but you stopped a few years back, the heart is a muscle and has whats called muscle memory so if you say stopped working out a few years back then for some reason did go on your holidays, went swimming walked more so on then at the end of your hol. Your resting rate would be so much greater then at the start, do you follow the heart would remember its shape and size sounds mad but true....working out  stays with you a lot longer than people think.....my rates 48 resting im 44 years old and i once had it up to around 200 yep i should be dead....
