How Much Is A 1 Page Ad In A Local Newspaper, Circulation 25,000 Homes?

Trying to gauge what it would cost to run an ad in a local paper. Ballpark numbers are fine.

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Actually the rates of advertising in a newspaper varies from place to place. Its true that the rates depend on the circulation of a newspaper and the higher the circulation, the higher would be the rate. However, you haven't mentioned which city or state you live in, what are the total number of households in that area. So guessing what would be the rate of your ad is impossible. The best thing you can do is to contact the said newspaper and ask them. Or you can contact an advertising agency who can get you a better and cheaper deal.

I should have included the following info: zip code is 07470 (Wayne, NJ) and the local paper is Wayne Today. I could call over to their ad dept., but really just wanted to figure out if the rates would be prohibitive. I recalled that they had run a special insert promo once at $ 350 for 5,000 homes?
