Traditionally it was fish and chips, but in the last few years that has been overtaken by chicken tikka masala, which was basically devised in Indian restaurants as a form of Indian cooking that would appeal to British tastes.

        It's a Curry actually.
Some say it's Chicken Tikka Masala, a dish created in Britain based on Indian cooking.
It isn't Fish and Chips despite that being very English, and it isn't meat and veg which is generic across all saxon peoples of Central & North Western Europe.

Those who say otherwise are just guessing off the top of their heads.

Full English Breakfast is almost identicle to Irish Breakfast, difference being Soda bread in the Irish.
