There are many different ways of cooking chicken qorma; however I use the following method:
Chicken:
1 (2 k.g)
Onion:
1 large (or 2 medium)
Oil:
1/2 cup
Water:
2 cups
Tomatoes (poached in hot water-without skin):
4 medium
Yogurt:
1 cup (unpackaged; desi-sour yogurt "koonday ka dahi")
Salt:
1 tbsp. (or according to taste)
Red Chillies:
1 tbsp. (or according to taste; powdered form)
Cinnamon sticks:
4 medium
Dry corriander powder:
2 tsp.
Cumin powder (zeera):
2 tsp.
Garlic paste:
1 tsp.
Ginger paste:
1 tsp.
Cardomoms (choti ilaichi):
4-5
Almonds (Poached- without skin):
1 cup
METHOD:
1. Heat oil in pot. Put onions in it and fry till dark golden brown.
2. Put chicken, garlic paste, ginger paste and cook till chicken loses its raw color on the outsides or till it turns golden.
3. Put salt, red chillies, cinnamon sticks, corriander powder, cumin powder and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Put tomatoes and 1 cup water and cover. Cook till tomatoes have fully cooked and the water has fully evaporated. leaving only the oil and curry (masala) behind.
5. Cook for 15 minutes on high flame, stirring it constantly. Add Yogurt, 1 cup water, almonds and cardomoms (ilaichi) and leave on very low heat for 20 minutes.
6. Cook till oil comes on top of the curry. Serve with garam masala ( a mix of spices) on top with freshly chopped corrainder leaves.
7. Serve with rice or plain bread/naan/chapati.

How to cook qurma ?
Ingredient;

6. salt (to taste)
7. read pepper
8. green pepper 3 to 4
9. Haldi ¼ tea spoon
10. Oil
Method
1. Wash the chicken and cut it into 16 pieces and then mark the small cuts on it.
2. Take a half yogurt mix garam masala , read pepper , and salt in it and put in chicken and marinate it for 45 minute. Its batter if marinated chicken kept into fridge.
3. On the other hand fried the onion till it become crispy brown then put out it from pan.
4. Put it into blender add remaining yogurt and green chilies and also tomatoes.
5. Now marinated chicken put into oil and fried it till it become light brown
6. Then mix all ingredients which are in blender in chicken. and for five minute continually wipping the spoon in chicken.
7. And cook them for 10 minutes or till when oil leave the qorma
8. when it is ready serve it with Nan.
Actually Nan will double the taste of chicken qurma .
