How Can God Bless America While Also Answering Prayers By Muslims Who Pray To The Same God?

Think about it. Americans have the belief that God will give America all that we want When we must recognize other religions including Jews and Muslims who also are descendants of Abraham as Christianity is. Regardless of their name for God whom we worship, we must recognize that theirs is truly the same God; otherwise Abraham is not in the lineage of Jesus and Christianity. All of this about Abraham's lineage is definitely in the Bible

Maybe we are full of it; how dare we have the gall to assume God obeys and honors our requests? If God is truly as all-knowing as they say, perhaps, and this is how I would feel, he disapproves of the actions of both. I believe it is highly impudent to assume you are led by the hand of God in any interpretation. As they say, live humble.

Hi, you ask a good question. First, I would like to say that Muslims do not pray to the same God as Christians do. I will try to make this brief: "God is just a title" refering to something bigger than yourself-something or someone you esteem as "higher"  This is important because not everyone means the same "person" when they say God.

The Christian prays to "Yahweh" (Hebrew) or Jehovah (Greek/English) this is who the Bible says is the Creator - of all things- When praying to Yahweh, they pray in the name of Jesus, who is the son of God.(Yahweh). This is who the Bible instructs believers to pray.

The Muslim prays to Allah - who is different , Allah is not the Creator God (Yahweh). The One True God - Yahweh has told us that Allah is a false god, he is known as the moon god of pagenism. He was Highly worshipped in the days of Abraham.

It gets confusing - but here is a brief history:
Both Muslim and Christianity believe that Abraham is the one whom God (Yahweh - for Christians) (Allah - for Muslims) told that through him all nations would be blessed. Now, Sarah-Abrahams wife was to have a child. But she could not wait and so she told Abraham to marry her maid servant - Her name was Hagar. Hagar had a son - Ishmael, but later God (Yahweh) blessed Sarah and she had a son - Issac.  Here is the big difference: Jews and Christians believe that Issac was the chosen son whom God (Yahweh) was refering to when he told Abraham all nations would be blessed - meaning the Messiah (Jesus) would be born to. Muslims believe that Ishmael was the chosen son.
All this dilema because Sarah did not believe God's promise and she took matters into her own hands and gave her maid servant to her husband (Abraham is to blame as well).

So, Jews and Christians believe in the same Creator - Elohim - Yahweh (the Creator God) while muslims believe in Allah as god - who by the way, Abraham used to worship before His encounter with the One true Creator God.

All this can be found in the book of Genesis starting in Chapter 11 -18

As far as the other question--God blessing America, He blessed it because it was founded on Biblical principles, but those have long since been left behind. Now, what we really should be asking is for God to forgive America.  I hope this helps. For more information on Christianity, visit my web-site at www.inseason2tim.com.

I tried to keep this short-sorry, I failed. Blessings to you and again, great questions!

God considers prayers individually, not by national origin. Sometimes when God answers a prayer, the answer is,"No."
