 Yes, although work should be carried out by a qualified electrician. First turn the power off! Remove the switch from wall, disconnect the two wires at the top and bottom of the switch (the switch making the contact between the two wires. Join the two wires and sheath with cable cover or electricians tape. Replace switch and turn power on.
