What Does Cotton Mean?

    Cotton basically is a soft fibre which grows near the seeds of the cotton plant, which is a shrub resident to the Indian subcontinent as well as to the tropical and subtropical area of Africa and Americas.

    This fabric is generally whirled in a thread and used to make a soft, breathable textile. It is the most extensively used natural-fibre material used in garments in the present world. The English name comes from the Arabic word "al qutun" and also from the Spanish term "algodon".

    Africa and South America are the biggest producers of cotton. Cotton fibre often comprise of practically pure cellulose, a natural polymer. The cotton fabrication is very well-organized in a way that only ten percent or less of the weight is misplaced in consequent processing to change the raw cotton balls into unpolluted fibre.
