If you are having periods more than 7 days then it is problem. If periods are for less than 7 days with heavy bleeding then it is not a big problem. Having periods twice in a month is problem. But at this age 45, this can be premenopausal syndrome. Take some hormonal supplements, but your periods may no longer exist.
