Simply digitize it through a conversion software. There are many vendor invented softwares in the marketplace, but remember you must need a video cassete player and a cd burner for this.

To convert a cassette tape to cd is very simple just capture the cassette on your audio capture card plug-ins,or you can connect the tape headphone output to the input of your computer. Then record the sounds and save. If you have a music editor you can edit your work. Hope that helps you

The best option to save the record is to convert the cassette to CD. Different audio recording and editing software are available that help to save the recording of unique cassette. When cassettes are converted into CD then it become save.
1. Before converting the cassette into CD make sure that you are recording in .WAV format.
2. See the thing that you need and get your supplies together.
3. Fast-forward or rewind your cassette to the appropriate point.
.4. Attach the red and white plugs to, color-coded output jacks (line-out) on your stereo receiver. Or attach one end of a double-ended 3.5mm stereo cable into the headphone output of your tape player. Connect the other end of your chosen cable to the "line-in" of your computer sound card.
4. Start up your computer and stereo receiver. Start the record sound that you want to use.
5. In you sound recording software, click on the record button. It is necessary that you start recording before playing your cassette player. Make sure in the beginning you don't miss any thing
6. Press "play" on your stereo receiver or cassette player. The audio that will be coming from your cassette player will be recorded.
7. When you are done, click the "stop" button
