Why Are Beautiful People Thought To Be Out Of Someone's League?

I've heard a few time before from different people that they couldn't believe they were with me because I am "out of their league" or "too good for them". I think it's kind of stupid. Anybody should be able to be happy with anybody without having to worry about being too good or not good enough. Nobody should be thought of as a higher rank because of their appearance.

I'm going to call hypocrite. You seem to be a good enough looking girl, more than likely you would not  date some hideous, overweight shlub. It is natural for people to seek breeding mates through physical appearance, it's one of our oldest and most innate instincts. Asymmetry in a person's facial structures can belie other more hidden genetic flaws. Exceedingly obese people are obviously unhealthy, and could pass on very unhealthy traits to their offspring. Beauty is natural selection.

Don't act so high and mighty. Attractive people, even if they don't like to admit it, are doubly guilty of this flaw. Partially, it is not our fault. Attractive people are given more in life, they have better jobs, are given better opportunities, make more money, hell they even live longer. Attractive people use their looks even if they aren't thinking about it. Do you wear makeup? Than this totally flies in the face of what you claim.

Personally, I don't go after many women "in my league." I usually look a rank or two below. More of than not, they are much more humble than a "hot" person who has had everything handed to them. Plus, they are better lovers. But that phenomena I cannot explain.

Thanks a lot, this helps me to understand a little more about how humans work. I'm not really known as being high or mighty, I don't personally go for any of that kind of stuff, being above anyone else. I didn't mean for this to come off as me being egotistical, I'm just genuinely curioius about everything and this question has been bothering me for a fair amount of time. As for the makeup, barely, just some mascara because I have short eyelashes, other than that my face is makeup free.
