There are many different varieties of dog food. If your pet has urinary problems, I could go with Purina One Urinary Track. My friend has been feeding that to her dog for years and he is happy and healthy.
I feed my dogs Ol'Roy, Beneful, and Alpo (Wet dog food) and they are all happy and healthy.

Read the back of the wetdog food. Most of it is made with the low end scraps from cow's chickens.  See where I am going with this.
Give your dog dry food and just a little bit of wet food. Science diet is real good. Bust most of all you want something that is going to give him omga 3 oils check with a locladog breeder and  them tell you what is good for your dog.

        Good luck

The best thing to do is read the labels and find one where corn is not the main ingredient Ol' Roy is crap and Beneful runs a close second. They have a good marketing campaign but look at the food it looks like a kids sugary cereal all that dye is not healthy. I have been working with Animals for many years and the best I have come across is a brand called Nutro Natural. This brand is actually better for dogs than Science Diet is.
