My Kitten Has Crusty Scaly Skin, What To Do?
The kitten has scabby areas on ears and back. They are flaky and white. On top of head there was the same crusty spot and there is fur loss. Some of the white scabs came off when cleaned with an aloe vera wipe.

It can be ringworms that have created this infection on it. It is caused by fungus. I can be diagnosed by testing its culture of skin. Its treatment includes Lime Sulfur dips, Itraconazole, Ringworm Vaccine, Miconazole and oral griseofulvin.
There are also chances of Flea allergy dermatitis if there is itching. But if there is no itching and no hair loss then it is simply dandruff, which can be cured by regular bath and skin conditioning. But take it to vet because symptoms are indicating towards Ringworm disease.
