If You Are On Workmans Compensation Should You File An Income Tax For This Year? My Husband Is On Disability Should We File Together?
I haven't filed a tax return is almost 7 which would be this year for last. I don't want to lose out on future benefits of Social Security. I am 56 and was hurt on the job when I was 49. Any advice on if I can file or not or maybe file jointly with my husband who is on Permanent Disability between the two of us we don't clear $1,000 a month. But I want to work to get some credits eventually. Any advice would surely be appreciated. TYVM Debbie
