What Pledge Has George W. Bush Made Concerning The War In Iraq?

Answer Question

It is a known fact to the entire world that the war in Iraq on behalf of the United States under the cover of 'reforming' Iraq was nothing but an utter failure.  Following this reason, countries all over the world along with the American public as well as the legislators of the United States (which currently comprises of a huge Democratic majority) have strongly opposed the further continuation of the war which would mean further funding and further loss of lives.

Nevertheless the US President George W. Bush seems to be a man with absolute gumption and perseverance, who despite of the enormous strength of the opposition that he is facing, is still not too keen on giving up on his stance.  This was proved by the vow that he made on Tuesday to use his veto power in order to counter a mutual congressional move (which included the consent of both the Senate and the House of Representatives) that urges the president to bring an immediate surcease to all war operations in Iraq and the withdrawal of the United States at the most by July this year.
