M n M's are produced by Mars Chocolate company. The M's in the M n M's stand for Mars itself. The company itself gives no explanation for the name of the brand. So the above statement is just a guess.

It doesn't really stand for anything. They are produced by the company of Mars. One might think that 'M' stands for Mars, but the company itself does not give explanation for the name. It sounds good to say, perhaps that's why they named it that way!
