What's The Difference Between Chickens That Lay Eggs We Eat And Chickens That Hatch Baby Chicks?

Answer Question

The two types of poultry industries you are talking about there are
    poultry production and
    egg production

Poultry production (chickens that hatch Baby chicks) are farmed an entirely different way and have nothing to do - totally separate from egg production farms - the eggs we eat.

Egg production farms have Hens in free range or Battery (cages) that can only ever lay unfertilised eggs, as there are never any rooster on the premises.
