This Question Is Answered:
Does Anyone Know If The State Can Intercept The Federal Economic Stimulus Check?
My sister in law has not received her check and she meets all of the eligibility requirements. The state usually intercepts her state tax refund because of a debt she owes to the state. I heard on the news that the state is intercepting the checks from people who owe back child support.

There are many many many  people who have not received their checks, including myself.  Irs.gov can give you an apx  time when she will. Since this check is not in the requirements  to be reported as income nor to be taxed, I doubt seriously that anyone business can touch it.
It makes a difference if you have it going to the bank or a paper check to her home.  It will come.  They have given last dates to receive checks up until July.  Best wishes
