Mary Balogh is one of the most popular authors who has written a number of novels. She has received heaps of accolades for marvelous story telling.
She was born in Swansea, Canada in 1967. After her college she worked as an English teacher and then she progressed to become the principal of the school. She got married to husband Robert Balogh. Presently, she has three children and she also has three grandchildren as well.
She began writing novels in the year 1983. A Masked Deception is the first novel to be written by her which was published in the year 1985. She used to write the books on her kitchen table after finishing the daily chores. The maximum numbers of novels written by her are mainly set in Wales or Regency.
She has written over 60 published stories and more than 20 novellas. She has received a number of awards which includes the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Regency Short Stories in the year 1993.
