Who Is Martin Luther?

Martin Luther was a primary cause in the reformation and creator of Lutheranism. He went against church doctrine by saying that he could directly be in contact with God and did not need a priest or saintly spirit to bid his prayers to God. Which endangered the power of the Catholic priests and cardinals, eventually leading to his martyrdom and a series of religion based feuds. Catholics hanging and burning Lutherans for heresy and Lutherans retaliating for what they viewed as murders.
