Where Is Ohio And What Are Its Main Features?

    Ohio is one of the states of the United States of America. It is in the east and is bordered by Pennsylvania in the east, West Virginia, Kentucky in the south and Indiana and Michigan in the east and north east.

    The state covers an area of 41 341 square miles and has as its capital the city Columbus. Other major cities include Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton and Toledo.

    The population of Ohio is about 11 million people. Its main features include Lake Erie, the Ohio River, Serpent Mound, an embankment build by the Hopewell American Indians in the 2nd to 1st centuries BC, one of their burial grounds and many museums in cities such as Cleveland.

    Cincinnati is home to the Cincinnati Art Museum and Cleveland has thee Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, which opened in 1995.

    Famous people who were born in Ohio include Thomas Edison (who invented the light bulb), Paul Newman, the actor and seven presidents of the United States.
