Why Is The Price Of Gas So High?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The prices of petrol have risen all over the world, as have the prices of crude oil in the global markets, and this is obviously a cause of great concern to people who own vehicles. There are two reasons why the prices of petrol have risen all over the world. The first reason is the ongoing nuclear standoff in Iran and the second reason is the political unrest in Nigeria.

The prices of petrol in the United Kingdom almost touched the 95-pence mark last year because of the nuclear row that has been taking place in Iran. Experts began to speculate the exports of oil from Iran could be adversely affected in the future because of the sanctions which were imposed by the United States of America to stop Tehran from continuing to enrich uranium.
