You will come to know that your Chinchilla is sick if it will show symptoms like lack of appetite, laziness, breathing problem, swelling in lymph nodes and nasal discharge. These symptoms are related to respiratory disorders. If it is not properly taken care then it can be changed into pneumonia. Moreover this animal gets problem of over grown teeth which reveal symptoms like drooling and loss of appetite. If its diet is changed or improper then it can suffer from diarrhea. Symptoms like high temperature, panting, slow movement and open- mouth breathing are the signs of heat stroke in Chinchilla.
