How Long Before Former Employer Has To Give Up 401k Money If No Longer An Employee?

Have not received any information from employer and have not worked there for a month. The employer is also the plan administrator

    Is there a carrier that manages the Plan?  If so, contact them.  It is your former employer's responsibility to notify whoever that you have separated from service,  Call your former employer, because you have the right to access your money.
