How Do You Write Poetry?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In order to write a good poetry you will need to have your syllables, words and stanzas flow really very well. Start with a new idea the moment you known you are changing your idea, rhythm or rhyme. Try and create natural rhymes do not try and force it. Try and bring out emotions as well but let it be balanced. Try and talk a little about life and nature. It is very essential that you go through various other poetries but do not get yourself dissolved into it. Then your art of writing would no longer be fine enough, it will look more like an imitation. Try and use meter rhymes or even vowel rhymes.

Some of the elements of poem that you need to known are metaphors, similes, assonance, onomatopoeias and alliteration.
