How Are CD Inserts Made?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A CD insert is defined as a sheet of paper which contains instructions that warn the users not to reproduce the content on the compact disc illegally. In other words, a CD insert is made of paper and aims at curbing the activities of pirates, which are detrimental to the working of the legal music industry.

There are many devices on which illegally downloaded music cannot be played. A CD insert not only states the devices which do not support this unethical practice, but it also states clearly that the compact disc cannot be burnt onto a CD-ROM or a hard disk, and it can neither be converted into an MP3 for the purpose of file sharing.

CD inserts are one of the easiest, most effective and most economical ways to crack down on piracy.
