When Should We Start Feeding Puppies (3 Chihuahuas) Food? And What Food Should We Give Them?
The mother seems not to ave a lot of milk and the puppies look hungry.

I start my Chihuahua pups on food when they are about 4-6 weeks old. Be sure they have teeth. I start them on baby food. The junior meats and vegetables are perfect. You can also put dry dog food in a blender and granulate it. It can be offered to them dry with water by the side, or mixed to make a mush. Be sure to NOT use dry food that is round. It presents a choking hazard. Use kibble that is flat and square. This is a moot point if you grind it. Do not over feed.. Now you are ready for the housebreaking part of having pups. Mom will not clean them once the are eating food. Good luck Dogma
