What Causes Mucous In A Yorkshire Terriers Stool?
My 18 month old Yorkie had a bought of diarrhea (treated by the vet with antibiotics and EN). Stool is firm now but shows mucous.

You should give the vet a call.
I have Dalmatians (brother and sister, 14-1/2 years old now) and they have both had bouts of colitis. They needed antibiotics and got better quickly, thank God!
