How Do I Paint A Sand Stippled Ceiling?

My bathroom has a sand stippled ceiling and needs painting. What is the easiest way to cover up a water leak in the ceiling with paint?

    Believe it or not spray it. You will probably have to spray or paint the whole ceiling unless you can match the old paint. Make sure to cover everything in the bathroom including the walls. Depending on the damage to the ceiling you might have to actually recoat the spot on the ceiling with a spackling mix to repair the discolored spot.       Go to sherwin williams paint get water based problock. The bond and seal one . Very little splatter hides ell nice white for ceiling then repaint entire ceiling with it. If you need sand grit texture  just ask them for it.
