I Think My Hamster Is Having Seizures, What Do I Do?
My hamster had a rough night. I have no clue what is wrong with him. He would drag his butt on the ground while going in a circle backward. Then he would completely stop moving and shake and scream while setting straight up on his hind legs for about 30 seconds. I kept holding him and rubbing his tummy to make him feel better. There are no lumps or anything, no diahrea. What is wrong with him, and what should I do? He hasn't had any other complications for about 6 hours now.

It is not normal for Hamsters to get Seizures. There must be something else that is bothering your pet. There is some internal injury, which is not letting your hamster setting straight. Get its X ray. In case it is suffering from Seizure then note timings in which it acts like this. If its duration is just few seconds then there are chances of its cure but if it takes more than five minutes then it is serious problem. Take it to vet soon if you do not find any external injury by yourself.
