Where did the Native Americans(we used to refer to them as Red Indians) come from?

    "Native Americans" is too broad a term.
    There have been "visitors" that did not make permanent settlements and There have been permanent settlements that did not survive.
    There have been several cultures in North America that do not presently have living descendants.  The "Red Indians" you are familiar with seem to have come from Asia about 15,000-years ago.
