Sir Lancelot was one of the most renowned Knights of the Round Table. Sir Lancelot was the greatest and most trusted of Knight of King Arthur. He took part in many of the victories of King Arthur. However the eventual downfall of King Arthur is also brought about by Sir Lancelot. The unity of King Arthur and Sir Lancelot was eventually destroyed when it was revealed that Sir Lancelot had an affair with the queen and wife of King Arthur 'Guinevere', this affair eventually led to the battle of King Arthur and Sir Lancelot.
