This Question is Answered

Is It Safe To Put Eye Drops(Visine, etc.) In My Dogs Eyes? Her Eyes Have Been Caked And Full Of Puss Lately.

I feel the drops might help clean the eyes out and relieve some pain, as in humans. She does have eye cherries though, and I know they contribute to her irritated eyes.

Puss is a bacterial infection, visine will not do anything. The dog has conjunctivitis. Take it to the vet for prescription eye drops.

No its not safe since they might not be tested for dog I would recommend you to take your dog to a vet.

Never use anything that is used for humans unless checking with your vet first, because you can do major damage to your pet!  Visine will not do a thing in this case. You need to take your dog to the vet and he/she will prescribe the proper treatment.
