1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

According to the Law of conservation of Energy, Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It is a constant factor in a system and takes on various forms such as Kinetic energy, potential energy, heat, light etc.

Consider a body that is moved. It will continue moving if there was no conservation of energy. Due to friction the body comes to rest. Otherwise it would move forever.
