Upon Arriving At Rome's Fiumicino Airport, What Does My Dog Need To Have To Enter The Country?

We are going to Rome, Italy. We have taken the trip many times with no problems. Now I hear that the dog must have a microchip and a passport. Is that true?

You need a microchip and a vet's certificate - if you are from the US I don't think you need a pet passport to go to Italy itself, but you can get one when you are there if you need to move around Europe. You can find more information at rome.angloinfo - just scroll down until you come to your own country, and there are also links to more information.
