    There are three important components that help the body build muscles. They are exercise, nutrition and rest. All three are nearly equally important. A person may take up weight lifting, free hand exercises or resistance training to build ones muscle mass. The process when a person exercises results in fibres of muscle getting damaged, as this happens the body repairs the same using proteins, the muscle is not just repaired but built stronger and tougher than before. This rebuilding process however takes place only when the body is at rest. In order to increase muscle mass faster experts suggest exercising till the breaking point or causing maximum damage to the muscle fibres. This can generally observed at the point at which a person has difficulty in completing or continuing to exercise. Eating protein rich food is also important; meats, pulses and milk. Protein supplements can also be taken but those in capsule form are rumoured to cause organ damage. Steroids do the job as well but can have serious side affects.
