What Is Multi-media?

Multimedia basically is a media which uses several forms of information content and information processing like text, audio, graphics animation, video etc. All these forms are used to amuse the audience. Multimedia also is also commonly addressed to electronic media to amass and experience multimedia content.

Multimedia can be roughly divided into linear and non-linear classes. Linear active content develops without any navigation power for example cinema presentation. Non-linear offers interactive progress control, for example a computer game. Non-linear content is also referred to as hypermedia content.

The advantage of Multimedia presentation is that either they can be live or recorded. A recorded presentation offers interactivity via a navigation system. A live multimedia presentation offers interaction with the presenter of performer. A multimedia presentation can either be viewed on stage, or also can be transmitted or projected.
