In case you are scared of doing so, what you can do is, find out her friends or the people she hangs around with in the class, this way you can ask her friends about her name. In case that does not work, you can ask your professor or teacher for it and I am sure if your intentions are good, they will not refuse.

           The best way to know somebody's name is to call them by a fake name. This way the opposite person will automatically tell you its real name.
