Can I Check If My Graphics Card Is Malfunctioning?
Can i check my graphics card and ram chips for malfunctions,,I have done the device manager thing which says all is well but flight sim 2004 and fsx both crash my computer so I suspect one or the other. I have p4 x 2 gig cpu..2 gig ddr 400 ram..nvidia gforce fx 5700 graphics..Both apps used to run but something has gone wrong but I cant find it..Any help would be appreciated.

For checking ram,use the small utility memtest which is free and let it run for 3 to 4 hours at least.If memtest does not give any error then your ram is fine.Now for your flight sim crash problem it could be due to a number of reasons including virus so first scan and remove all viruses from your pc and re install sim.Another reason could be due to card overheating so remove all covers and also check its temperature from the video card utility.
