My dogs hind legs shake constantly

My dogs hind legs shake all the time and it is getting worse. When he stands at rest his hind quarters contstantly shake. He has recently really slowed down walking too and is struggling to get up onto his chair, or jump up at the box at the window. He is a Staffie Cross (maybe with German Shepherd, but we're not sure) What could be wrong?

What kind of dog?and how old is the dog,some breeds are prone to hip dysplasia,and there hind legs do shake,i would take pooch to the vet.
