How Do You Salsa Dance?

Salsa is a type of dance that is performed to salsa music. Salsa dancers do not require a very large area to perform the dance nor do they need the entire dance floor to perform the dance. Salsa dances are performed in different styles all over the world but the steps that they generally involve are as follows.

Salsa basically begins with a tap left on the initial beat, a step forward using the same foot, the right foot is used for a rock back and the sequence comes to an end by stepping back left in order to close. This entire sequence is actually a basic forward movement which is followed by the basic movement backwards. This goes tap right and then step back right rock forward towards the left and close with the right.
