The equipment used for medical purposes to provide oxygen to patients is known as a portable oxygen concentrator which is still and through the electrical units convert the nitrogen from the air and transfer it to the patient in the form of oxygen.

They are much affordable than the liquid oxygen and provide a very commercial source of oxygen healing. In the daily lives, all over the world, the portable oxygen concentrators are used by patients who are being treated at their home. It is very cost effective and very easy to manage.

Prior to the introduction of the portable oxygen concentrator, heavy steel aluminum cylinders were used to provide support for oxygen, which were heavy and very hard to manage. It is very different from the standard aluminum cylinder in the way it distributes the oxygen in a proper continuous basis.

It removes the nitrogen from the normal air and extracts the oxygen which is present in the air, which results in pure oxygen. It is important for the oxygen to be at least ninety five percent pure and the portable oxygen concentrator manages to accomplish this that is why all over the world all hospitals and medical centers have switched to this concentrator.
