Why On Earth Would An Otherwise Intellingent Colin Powell Endorse Obama?

I am confused about the overall situation.  I don't like either candidate but if Colin Powell were a candidate, I would vote for him in a heartbeat.  You will see ads trying to defame Colin Powell over the next two weeks and it is an extremely sad statement about politics.  In fact this entire presidential process has been embarrassing to me as a U.S. Navy veteran.

I think Powell despises the McCain attempts to connect Ayres to Obama.  He was also very upset about the Lady Congressperson who suggests that everyone in Congress should be investigated to determine if they are pro America or anti America!  McCarthy did that over 50 years ago!  And Palin talks about pro America states?

I can't vote for either because they are both threatening my healthcare and they both voted to give a trillion dollar bail out to the people who caused the economic problems in the first place.  McCain was a champion of this plan and now he accuses Obama as being in favor of income redistribution--duh-a trillion from the poor to the rich--what do you call it?  Hypocrites, all!

Here's my theory...."they" do not like John McCain because "they" know what he will do to make the changes that need to be made in Washington and the big businesses, etc...He will wreck havoc...which he should do!  And "they" know "O" will be their puppet as much as he tells us he won't.  I have seen a lot of negative propaganda about McCain within the last month and wondered what the heck is going on???
