    Feline parvo is different from canine parvo. Virus of feline parvo is called feline distemper virus. This virus can cause gastroenteritis. Feline parvo is contagious and spread from infected cat to healthy. Signs of parvo in cats are
    1. Vomiting
    2. Diarrhea
    3. Weakness
    4. Fever
    5. Loss of appetite
    6. Lethargy
    There are no permanent cures of parvo in cats. Only supportive therapies are use to treat symptoms only.

    Parvo virus of both cats and dogs is different and both can not affect humans but humans can spread this virus among pets because of contaminated hands and clothes. Human gets a different parvo virus called B19. This virus is not present in cats and dogs.
