The name of the highest waterfall is Angel Falls which is situated at Canaima National Park in Venezuela over the river happy Carrao. Total height of this waterfall is 979 meter as estimated by National Geographic Society survey during 1949 with an uninterrupted drop of 807 meter.

Angel Falls was not known to the western world till the beginning of 20th century, when it was explored by James Crawford Angel in 1935.

In the modern world, Angel Falls has been considered as one of the important tourist spots. An air flight including the trip time of around 24 hours is offered in order to trip to the falls. It is positioned in the green wilderness of Venezuela. The preferable season for viewing the waterfall is around December to March, because this time essentially offers dry atmosphere eventually increases the chance for viewing the surrounding clearly. But the cloudy atmosphere may lead to disappointment in viewers.
