You can burn downloaded movies files by converting it in the .mpg format if it is in some other format so that you can easily burn that movies on some CDs so in order to burn these movies you need to have a CD writer or a Combo drive which you can use to write the movies or burn them to some blank CD. You should have some black CDs in order to burn the data on it. You must have windows XP or higher in order to burn CD on your computer. So this is the way you can burn your movies file on the CDs.

Sometimes if you are using the CD writer or some Window which does not support the writing you need to have software which you can download from any website. But if you are using the windows XP there is an option in the Windows XP for writing or burning up the CDs so this is the way you can write the CDs by using the CD Writer or Combo Drive. You will find that when you will finish burning your data to some Disks. Then you will find CDs little warn when you touch it.

You can burn any form of data on a CD. Data can be in the form of text, audio, video, and images. Actually you must have CD writer and a writable CD for burning movies.
You can burn movies by using windows services of by using any burner software. If you write a CD by using windows services then it will take much time than using burner software. There will be a difference between these two methods.

If you use will use windows services for burning movie files then these files will be stored same as data. But if you will use any burner software then you can make video CD. Video CD will automatically play video as you put this in CD ROM on the other side if you will burn movie simply as you burn other files like text then you have to play movie yourself. One more advantage of burning CD with burner software is that you can use this CD on a CD player. You can make audio CD, and you can play these songs on a CD player.

If you write data without using any burner software then you cannot use that CD in your CD player because it will not work. There are many good software are available on internet. I am using Nero Burner; you can try this for burning movie files.

My advice. If you've not already got a DivX compatible DVD player get one.

        £26.84 delivered

        svp.co.uk

or this one at £27.20 delivered, which is a full length one like your sky box etc.

        www.ebuyer.com

Use google checkout for your £10 off if you fancy one.

Then burn your video files as dvd data discs (You can get around 6 X 700 mb films on one disc taking less than an hour to burn in my experience) and watch them on your DivX player. Converting files with Nero to play as a DVD can literally take a couple of hours per film.

        That's how i do it.

        Hope this helps.
