Can A Chord Be Different Lengths On A Circle?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Absolutely!  A chord is ANY line segment/line that connects two points on the circumpherence of a circle that DOES NOT PASS THROUGH THE CENTER - although this is a chord, it is a special one - the Diameter!

So you can have a tiny curve that connects two points on the Circumpherence that are really close, or a large chord that connects two points that are quite a distance from eachother.

    I hope this helps
