How Old Can A Horse Get?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The longest a horse has ever lived was 62 years, a world record set by a Cleveland Bay cross named Old Billy! But most horses don't get to that age! Most live to their late twenties, and it isn't too, too unusual for a horse to live to 30-40. But of course, all horses are different, and it can really take a good affect to the life span if a horse is well taken care of. One of the longest living breeds is a Morgan, so the breed can also affect how long a horse lives.
