    Four teams were relegated from the Coca Cola league division one in the two thousand and five, two thousand and six season.  The four teams were then placed in the fourth tier of English football, the Coca Cola league division two for the start of the two thousnd and six, two thousand and seven season.  

    Walsall finished the season in twenty fourth and last place, with the Midlands side only managing to secure forty seven points from their forty six league matches.  

    Swindon Town finished the season in twenty thirs place, with the worst away record in the league only helping them to amass forty eight  points all season.  

    Milton Keynes Dons came twenty second, managing only fifty points from their forty six league matches, exactly the same points total as North East side Hartlepool United who finished the season in twenty first place and were the fourth side to be relegated from the division.
