There might be a couple of reasons you cannot play it. First test your DVD player with another DVD that you know it works. If the DVD Player works go to the next step. Be sure that you have all the drivers installed. Install FFDSHOW if you have Windows XP or below, or Vista Codecs for Windows Vista. If it still does not work it try updating your WMP10 to WMP11 if you can. If it still does not work try another program like Winamp or CyberLink PowerDVD. If that still does not work there must be a problem with your recorder or recording.(i.e. Most DVD player have zone encoding so you will not be able to play a DVD for Asia in the US and this might prevent you from playing it on a PC, depending on your DVD settings from device manager).
